FAQ (Uniforms)

I wanted your advice on how many of each item, you recommend, I order?
I hate doing laundry- with 4 kids- who doesn’t. So I bought 5 logo polo shirts so my kids can wear a clean one every day and then one or two of the other things- like jumpers, pants, shorts…. that way there is a rotation and always a clean shirt on but they re-wear pants/jumper if it was clean enough. Then I can wash at the end of the week- all the uniforms together (they’re require a low tumble cycle to make them last).

Also, how can I determine the size?  Should I bring my daughter on Friday to try uniforms on?
I suggest bringing your daughter to the uniform sale- try stuff on- or just hold it up (what I did)….. but it’s all very accurate to actual sizes. So if your daughter is a 5T- the jumper is a 5… and a youth small shirt would be just that- a youth small.

If I can't make it on Friday, will there be another uniform sale?
Yes- there is another sale on Monday, August 17th from noon to 5pm. The company comes with BINS and BINS of the items you will need- you just show up- find your sizes, pay and leave. It’s quick and hectic but you can actually leave with stuff you know will fit. Everything from socks, hair ties, sweaters, shirts, pants, jumpers- you name it- what you need is there….

Is the sale really good or can I get the relatively same price on line?
I should’ve reworded it- but that’s just what the school calls it- it is not a “sale"… its just when the distributor actually comes to the school. It’s a California company and so they only come every once and awhile. This and in August is your only chance to really try stuff on without buying and returning. The prices are the same you will find online. No discounts/ no sales. But at the end of the year- usually in May there will be an email that there is an actual sale from the company that you have to call to order…

When is the deadline, if any, to order uniforms and have them by the start of school?
You must have the correct uniform on the day school starts- august 24th. Ms. Burger is very strict on this. There is no reason not to- as there are several opportunities to buy as well as online. I HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest coming Friday… if not Monday the 17th. I, unfortunately, will be out of town but Amanda will be there as well as staff and other parents to help.

Also, on the first day of school what is the proper uniform to wear?

Proper uniform to wear is always (OTHER THAN MASS)- the logo polo (any color sold by the uniform company- green, grey or white) and a jumper or skirt or navy pants/shorts. Over the ankle socks, and tennis shoes. I highly suggest the jumpers always for the girls- esp k-3 grade because they’re just easy and so darn cute. My daughter prefer them.
